One of the most well-known athletes in the annals of collegiate football is Johnny Manziel.
Although the Heisman Trophy-winning Texas A&M Aggies player was a major disappointment in the NFL, flameing out after a few seasons, he is a legend in the world of collegiate football.
Manziel recently shared his troubles in a Netflix documentary. Former NFL quarterback had intended to commit suicide.
"I had planned to do everything I wanted to do at that point in my life, spend as much money as I possibly could, and then my plan was to take my life," Manziel stated.
things seemed like an excuse and an out for me since I wanted things to make sense as badly as humanly could.
Manziel's father, who has been outspoken about his son's difficulties, spoke candidly about what took place.
Paul Manziel remarked, "I don't know if it's been wonderful or horrible; that's kind of still up for dispute. It's been a long, long trip.
"But we're fortunate. He is still here with us. And we still have time to fix all the fences. I believe Johnny will soon have far better days than this. His family has been the subject of several prayers.
Respect to him for being candid about his issues and I'm pleased he found the fortitude to stay here, one admirer commented, adding that others of the remarks were "just plain weird."
